Todays episode was recorded at the Old Market Hall Café. We have a task today to find the answer “Why Shrewsbury?” What makes this town so desirable.
You may think this is a typical thing to think of from the inside of a town one loves. However, we have discovered throughout our years of Biscuit interviews that people move here and become besotted. Born and bred Salopians show so much pride for their town and there is a real historical, cultural and geographical appeal here.
Today we ask why? For this we need experts and we have the finest. We have The Shrewsbury Review writer and ex Mayor Phil Gillam, from ‘The Shrewsbury Property Page’ and Nock Deighton Andy Dawson and beloved tour guide, the great ‘n’ powerful, Stan Sedman.
What are Shrewsbury’s finest points? Where in Shrewsbury would we take outsiders to show the town off? and What is the town missing? We are here to casually talk about what we love about the town and we would love to hear your thoughts too.
Thank you to my guests, much love to you all Andy, Phil and Stan. To The Old Market Hall thank you for letting us set up and for being so accommodating. To the listeners thank you for your constant support. Means the world to us.
