This is such a fantastic episode, whether you enjoy art or not. When we talk about passion, especially that which comes from hunger or desire, it is really hard to not find it infectious.

Alex is at Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery for a private exhibition for Shrewsbury Arts Trail 2023. We have all seen the pictures of the amazing sculptures throughout the town, this is the sculpture trail. Well now the full arts trails is open in its full capacity. There are hundreds of displays exhibited throughout Shrewsbury which include pieces by Salvador Dali, Jacob Chandler and from nearly 600 local artists too.

Alex, mic in-hand is here to speak to some of those artists starting off with the gentleman who invited Alex along, friend of the show, John Wragg. Alex speaks to (takes a deep breath) Richard Royal who has just opened up Studio 67 in The Parade (make sure you check this out, it’s brill), Deafblind artist John Fin, aided by Paul Siroky, the High Sheriff Many Thorn, Ellie Cliftlands, Maggie Love, Julia Goldmsith, organiser Phil Langstaff, the amazing Andrew Logan, Jane Beesley and Yulia Lavrenchuk.

This is just too much talent! My mind had a bit of an overload processing some of the amazing conversation I had that evening. Good thing I had the trusty mic to remind me about what was said. This is an incredible episode and I’m proud to share it. Please visit the Shrewsbury Arts Trail website and go into town and check it all out. It’s brilliant!
