The sun is starting to peek it’s head out and we are about to embark on festival season. With Shropshire being such a cool festival county, it seems fitting that we sit and discuss one of the biggest festivals of the year, Camp Bestival.
Alex and Verity are joined by Bestival founder and world famous DJ, Rob Da Bank. There is not much that isn’t covered in this interview.
Starting off with how does one become a world famous DJ? How was life at BBC Radio One and how far do those relationships go? What are some of Rob’s most memorable performances (both good and bad).
Of course it is important to talk about the conception of Bestival, how just the right ingredients are blended together to make a perfect festival and why Shropshire/Staffordshire is the perfect spot for such an event.
The Shrewsbury Biscuit will be at Camp Bestival. Verity will be there with mics and cameras to document such a fun event. Alex and Rob set out a series of missions for Verity to complete while she is there.
If you need to be hooked up with a link for tickets for Camp Bestival it is right here. From the briefing we have here from Rob Da Bank himself, it sounds like it’s going to be an epic weekend. Check it out – https://shropshire.campbestival.net/tickets/buy-tickets
