Today Alex is chatting to members of Shrewsbury Writers Lab. A free service that runs from Shrewsbury Library and is available for writers of all levels and experiences. We are joined by Joe Shooman and Rachel Lloyd who talk about their experiences with the Writers Lab, the benefits of the group and the encouraging potential of meeting with other fellow creatives.
Joe is a very experienced author, having written lots of autobiographies for some of the biggest bands in the world, amongst many great things. He has a lot of Knowledge to pass on to help writers develop their projects and their abilities.
The Writers Lab created a very special book together called “Where We Are” which features stories and poems from 19 different writers. All of whom are a part of the Lab. The book is available at The Raven Book Shop and comes highly recommended.
PRE-SHOW RAMBLE – Alex and Verity attended the Shropshire in Business meet up hosted by Alex McCarthy at Highly Flammable. This was a relaxed setting where owners of businesses can meet up and take in advice from Alex, share ideas and learn from one another too. We captured some audio from that evening just so we could share it with you guys. Thanks for the invite Alex 🙂
