Alex and and Verity are coming to you from Albert & Co’s Frankville in Frankwell. They are speaking to LOOPFEST organiser Jamie, who is on to talk about his journey with music in Shrewsbury/Shropshire and the conception of LOOPFEST.
LOOPFEST is an event that takes place on Saturday 8th July across 25 different venues, offering entertainment from 125 different acts. All of this needs to be organised to run smoothly across one day and the logistics sound intense. However, Jamie has a plan and talks about how it is all going to work.
When it some to grassroots music, listeners of this show will know that I am a firm supporter of the promotion and welcoming of the local stuff. An event like LOOPFEST offers local musicians a chance to shine. The local economy gets a boost, festival goers get the good vibes and culture blossoms. We will help LOOPFEST with whatever we can.
If you’d like to find out more about LOOPFEST hit up their website at https://loopfest.co.uk/
