AL sits to chat with Kyle from KG Theatre.
Back in December the Whiteley family went to watch small production pantomime, “Beauty & the Beast” in Sundorne Sports-hall. They had an amazing night, as did the rest of the audience and the cast.
We just had to find out more about this project because the community aspect behind this show had such an impact. So here we are, with KG Theatre founder and show runner Kyle. Not only had Kyle just moved to Shrewsbury 7 months prior, but the show itself only took 4 months to put together!
For the first night the set collapsed and the group had to perform as it lay, regardless they still put on a great show. We were lucky enough to see the show with the set intact and the performance was very impressive.
We find out about Kyle’s passion behind bringing in new talent and just giving them the opportunity to learn under his mentorship and perform. It is early doors for KG Theatre but I am under no illusion when I say you will all have heard what this little community based theatre group are doing by the end of next year.
If you would like to find out more about these guys, please check out their website right here -> https://www.kgtheatre.com/
