AL is recorded at Primary Coleham school to talk about the beloved annual Christmas video. Every year the school releases a special Christmas music video where the teachers and school children get involved to make something fun and exciting. Every year the video tends to go Shropshire viral, generating thousands of views.

AL is first joined by 3 year 5 pupils Evelyn, Sophia and Rosa who discuss the importance of spreading Christmas cheer through fun media projects.

After the kids go back to class, it is time for AL to speak to members of the Coleham staff. Mr Williams, Mrs Howson and Miss Othen who join in with the discussion. They talk about how important it is to use technology to communicate with the school children, parents and the local community.

Have you seen this year’s latest Christmas music video? Well a lot of hard work has gone into making it and it 100% deserves to be viewed, shared and support given to the staff for producing it. Here is the link to the video – https://youtu.be/LShd3FR-8lk Take a listen to this podcast and then why not treat yourself by watching this fun video.

At the end of this podcast I thanked all of Coleham staff for keeping things moving during the pandemic. They were certainly difficult times for many. But the school kept a presence via media and kept education rolling out whether it be virtual lessons or even hybrid classes. As a parent of a pupil at this wonderful school I can tell you that the appreciation for everything the staff offered goes beyond anything during those difficult times. Videos like this Christmas video are a by-product of those times and it really does offer hope and what I consider a virtual arm around the shoulder. Thank you for everything Coleham school and all of the teachers out there who worked valiantly and continue to do so week in, week out. – AL
