Politics…we really do try to avoid it on The Biscuit. But sometimes it’s unavoidable, especially when someone drums as much press as today’s guest, Alex Wagner.
The reason being, is because Alex is only 20 years old and is already counsellor of Bowbrook for the Liberal Democrats and is going to be throwing his name in the hat to become Shrewsbury’s next MP.
We decided that today’s podcast would be about young people in politics, where Alex’s career has taken him, where he is planning to go with it and his inspirations.
Alex is a great guy and at 20, he has a great head on his shoulders. Now, age is mentioned an awful lot during this podcast but maybe that is because politics is considered a career for older people. But here at The Biscuit we think having younger people in politics is a wonderfully positive thing. So let’s discuss…
