These are trying times for businesses and Shrewsbury has been hit hard this year, with the floods and now, Covid-19, its been horrific. Alex Whiteley and Deedee Fullwood speak to Reuben Crouch, co-owner of CSONS about the year that they’ve had. Having popular restaurants in both Shrewsbury and Ludlow, most locals know who they are and the difficult times that they’ve had.
During the floods, the Ludlow restaurant was badly damaged, then this current crisis has forced most local businesses to close their doors. Reuben and his brothers have had such a positive reaction to the current situation and actually adapting their business to try and cope.
Seeing so much damage done to a business that you’ve put your heart and soul into must be hard, so to stand up and face things in such a brilliant way deserves respect. This episode offer a business perspective on the impact of Covid-19.
