Good friend of the show Mark Fielden joins AL on the Biscuit to talk about the magnificent return of Chords Crush Cancer which takes place at The Inn On The Green on the 5th February.
We re-cap what the event is, where it originated from and what it means to Mark and his family. What it was like having to take a year out due to Covid and the effect the break may have had on him and the proceedings this year.
Having organised a charity event last year himself, AL can really relate with Mark on what goes into making something like this happen so there’s lots of mutual discussion about such things. Mark has amassed a huge collection of auction items and raffle prizes, we get a rundown of some of them.
Mark is holding a charity pub quiz on Thursday 3rd Feb at The Dolphin. So you still have time to get booked in if you can. There are some pretty awesome prizes up for grabs there too.
If you are looking for a great night make sure you pop on down to CCC6 on the 5th Feb, it looks like it will be a great night with live music, caricatures, prizes and great company. We wish you the best of luck with it Mark. See you on Saturday! – AL
