The kindness shown to locals, by locals throughout the pandemic has been astounding. There have been people that have gone above and beyond, when it comes to keeping their community safe and well. AL speaks to Sophie, Ruth and Sasha from “Little Bags Of Kindness” who are the perfect example of how banding together and being helpful can not only help a community, but snowball into a much bigger thing.
What started off as a group effort of creating bags of donated gifts, sandwiches and mementos of good will, to the Women’s Refuge has now become a company that is making a huge amount of positive noise across the county. Listen to the story of how this all began, what was the inspiration behind this amazing idea and what have the girls learned from this personally?
“You will hear me run out of ways to say how much I love this idea throughout this episode. Listeners of the show will know, when I get speechless, I’m actually flabbergasted (it doesn’t happen very often!). What an effort by these ladies, thank you so much for restoring my faith in humanity!” – AL
