Coming to you from St Mary’s in Shrewsbury Town AL brings you a series of interviews with amazing folks that were putting on a spectacle for the locals. All of this to help raise some of the £200k that is needed to help repair the churches stunning stain-glass windows amongst other things.

All speaks to the guys from Corbett Household. A battle re-enactment group that were donned in chainmail, armour and helmets. We find out all about what they do and why.

Tom was from Coventry Militia Re-enactment Society and he was helping out, also wearing historical accurate attire. Tom is a teacher and offered some insight into how kids today digest history in school.

AL speaks to Suzanne who explains the importance of keeping things happening at St Mary’s to try and repair a building of such historical importance .

Finally AL speaks to Nathalie Hildegarde Liege who has a stain-glass studio by the English Bridge. We discuss her fine work. (there will be more to come from Nathalie as I find her fascinating)
