We bring you a collection of interviews that were collected during a day where Shrewsbury was flexing it’s creative muscles with 2 events happening on the same day.

AL speaks to Sue Mann who organised the art exhibition for the Belle Vue Arts Festival at the Barnarbas Centre in Coleham. They discuss the challenges and the joys of putting the artwork together.

Next AL sets off to Belmont in Shrewsbury Town to the Hive Street Festival, where all things “arts” was being celebrated. AL spoke to light artist Andy Mckeown, Maggie Love (aka Queen of the Street, Town Crier – Martin Wood and The Walking Dead artist – Charlie Adlard.

What a town we live in. When it comes to creative minds, Shrewsbury is not lacking at all. Events like these and the many wonderful peers this town has, is surely a catalyst for the creative mind.

It is always an honour to be out and about speaking to you lovely people so, thank you! – AL
