As mentioned on “What’s The Difference” AL was invited to The Battle Of Shrewsbury Weekend. We spoke to Matthew Howarth and the organisers on the show and we said we would release what content we got from the weekend on both USUK and The Shrewsbury Biscuit so this limited playlist is what we got.
Here we speak to a few of the reenactors starting off with Matt and Craig who are donning medieval attire, Matt is wearing pretty heavy armour. What does it mean to these guys to be taking part in this event and exactly how awkward is it to move around in heavy armour?
In part 2 we speak to Matthew Godwin, a local history teacher who has many years of history re-enactment under his belt. Matthew is playing the part of the King for the weekend which is an exciting part to be playing. We speak to Matthew about why this is important to him.
