For the Mile Of Smiles event on Sunday 25th July, The Shrewsbury Biscuit Podcast had the great honour of being able to set up a studio for the day. The goal was to sample and document the event with as many great interviews as they could get.
AL and Leon’s first interviews were with 2 of the artists that were performing on the day. Kiani Isme from Hope Radio joined the guys to talk about biscuits, radio and music. Kiani had so much positive energy, this interview really helped us to set the pace for the rest of the day.
Shortly after speaking to Kiani, the AL & Leon were joined by singer and poet Maurice Malcolm from Wolverhampton. Maurice talks about how his poetry is his life, it just happens. He has this beautiful belief that everyone is an artist, it’s about finding out what you’re good at and sharing it with the world. Maurice plays 2 live songs for us too!
